Everyone has a list of things they want to accomplish in their lifetime. Some people want to see the Northern Lights or the Globe Theatre, others may want to conquer a fear like surfing in the deep waters of the ocean. Still others may just want to travel and write about all of their amazing adventures, and that’s exactly what we’re crossing off the Bucket List today!
It’s inevitable that adventure will ensue wherever you may travel, especially while making new friends and immersing yourself in the culture as you study abroad. Several students traveling abroad keep memories in photos, blogs and personal journals. Some even turn their experiences into stories!
USAC is always keeping an eye out for student writers and bloggers. You can even submit your work to blog for us! USAC features individual blog posts from students right here on our own blog. All you have to do is let us know! We love seeing what kind of adventures our students are up to abroad. So much so, we have a whole Pinterest board dedicated to student blogs titled, “What Will You Write?” We have blogs from travelers from everywhere around the world including Germany, France, Spain, Thailand and China, just to name a few.

For those who are really interested in the art of travel writing, there are classes tailored specifically to this interest in Spain, Costa Rica, Italy, England and Ireland. In addition, Italy, France and the Czech Republic also offer courses in travel photography.
Wherever you go, whatever you do, you’re going to have amazing adventures to remember for a lifetime. So take pictures, write it down, but don’t forget to just sit and enjoy the moments you have. It’s a once in a lifetime experience.
