USAC supports industry event focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion

Making plans to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion objectives in the field of international education requires a unique conversation. After all, developing study abroad programs for students around the world requires faculty and administrators to be well-informed about the nuances of cultural exchange. With that in mind, University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC) has proudly sponsored the Diversity Abroad Global Inclusion Conference, held October 31 – November 23, 2023, in Chicago, Illinois. The event was designed to accelerate systemic and equitable change with regards to international student support and cultural exchange, education abroad, global engagement at home, career advancement, and belonging.
