Calling All USAC Alumni: Review Your USAC Program For The Chance To WIN!
Did you love your study abroad experience? Of course! Are you eager to spread the word and help future students find their perfect program? We sure hope so!
As a USAC alumni, we’d love to learn how your study abroad impacted you and the life-changing experiences you discovered via our online review platform. Your story can be read by students researching study abroad with USAC and will help get the word out about our organization and the power of study abroad. Your review could also help us win a few awards at the same time!
We’ve even gathered a few prizes and swag to giveaway as a thank you for participating. Keep reading to learn how you can share your story for the chance to win some USAC goodies.
There are a few different options to choose from, but the more ways you share your testimonial, the more points you can accumulate improving your chances of winning.
How to Share Your Study Abroad Story For the Chance to Win Prizes and USAC Swag!
There are a few different options to choose from, but the more ways you share your testimonial, the more chances you have to win.
- Option 1: Review your program on GoOverseas.com and email a screenshot of your review to usacmarketing@gmail.com for verification. (2 points)
- Option 2: Review your program on GoAbroad.com and email a screenshot of your review to usacmarketing@gmail.com for verification. (2 points)
- Option 3: Share your study abroad testimonial (200-800 words preferred) and a photo of you abroad. Testimonials and photos should be sent to usacmarketing@gmail.com along with your full name and the program you attended. (1 point)
- Option 4: Write a blog post about your time abroad (800 – 1,200 words preferred) along with 3-4 photos from your time abroad. Don’t hesitate to reach out to usacmarketing@gmail.com to brainstorm topics before sending your final submission. (3 points)
What You Could Win
Grand Prize: The grand prize winner will receive a Starbucks gift card, USAC water bottle, and USAC sticker suite (11 stickers total).
Runners Up: Two runner ups will receive a Starbucks gift card and USAC sticker suite (5 stickers total).
Contest Rules and Guidelines
All submissions must be emailed to usacmarketing@gmail.com no later than 11:59 p.m. PST on Friday, Dec. 31, 2021.
In order to submit a review, testimonial or blog post, you must be an alumni of a USAC study abroad program.
- By submitting a review, testimonial, or blog post you acknowledge that you are the sole writer of the content submitted.
- Photos or written testimonials depicting alcohol, illegal or dangerous behavior, or anything that may be deemed as inappropriate, will be disqualified.
- Reviews submitted must be written during the contest submission period (Nov. 15 – Dec. 31, 2021). Screenshots of reviews posted on GoAbroad.com or GoOverseas.com before Nov. 15, 2021 will not be accepted.
- Copyright and Usage: Designers retain the copyright to their designs. By entering the contest, designers agree that:
- Winning entries will be selected by the USAC Advancement and Engagement Department. Winners will be notified via email in early January 2022.
- Entries (including non-winning entries) may be edited and/or selected for display or use on USAC digital platforms and promotional materials, without fee, compensation, or acknowledgement;
- USAC may publish winning submissions on their website and/or on the UNR study abroad webpage, social media channels, program catalogs, and other digital or print channels.
- USAC reserves the right to modify submitted testimonials and blog posts to align with organizational branding requirements, such as font selection, language, and website URLs.
