If you’ve been wanting to head abroad for the summer but can’t decide which western European destination to pick, why not explore five in the same program?
When you study abroad with USAC in Maastricht, The Netherlands you’ll embark on a six-week study abroad experience, three weeks of which can include a study tour of Germany, France, Belgium, England, and the Netherlands. All for college credit. You read that correctly!
USAC’s summer program in Maastricht is broken into two three-week blocks. The first three weeks you have the option to take one course at Maastricht University or enroll in the Western Europe Study Tour. The Western Europe Study Tour offers students the unique opportunity to explore Western Europe in an academic setting, with a focus on doing business in the European Union in light of fast-changing political and economic conditions.
You will get a first-hand look behind the scenes with visits to some of the most important institutions of the EU, key European businesses, and powerful financial organizations in major cities within several Western European nations (see below for highlights!), and participate in organized lectures and discussion with policymakers, consultancy agencies, and European business leaders.
The Maastricht Summer program runs June 29 – August 10, and the Western Europe Study Tour is July 4-19.
