The Students Beyond Borders study abroad podcast is a place for USAC faculty, students, and higher education professionals to talk about international education. Every episode we’ll be providing you with inside information on what’s happening at USAC and in the study abroad industry in general.
What Guests and Themes Will the Study Abroad Podcast Feature?
We plan on having guests from all facets of international education including USAC staff members – local and international – current students, alumni, and professionals in the international education field. We’ll talk about everything from preparing for your study abroad to securing scholarships, the experiences you’ll have, how to use your study abroad to get ahead in your career, and more. We’ll frequently have current students and alumni on the show so you can hear first-hand what study abroad is like.

Who Are the Students Beyond Borders Podcast Hosts?
The hosts of the Students Beyond Borders podcast are USAC communications employees, Sara East and Nicole Duxbury.
Sara and Nicole are both located in the USAC central office in Reno, NV. Sara studied abroad in Madrid, Spain and Nicole studied abroad in Paris, France. (They’re both those annoying people that never stop talking about studying abroad even though they studied a long time ago.) But seriously, both hosts have a passion for study abroad and sharing the opportunities and doors that can open through international education.
