Ronald is the program advisor for the Costa Rica, Cuba, and Israel programs.
I was born in Maryland and raised in Nevada. I graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs and a minor in Business Administration. I love being active, watching movies, traveling and cooking! I genuinely think the number one thing you can do in this life is see everything the world has to offer.
Where did you study abroad?
Lyon, France
What’s your favorite memory from your time abroad?
I studied abroad during the time of the World Cup, so every game day for France was an amazing experience. The best part of every day was not only the singing and dancing, but seeing how everyone united for their team. I will never forget when France won the semifinal match and walking home I heard nothing but celebration in the streets.
What’s a funny travel memory you have?
One weekend instead of traveling, my friends and I went to the mall and picked up Monopoly in French. None of us were really good at Monopoly (or French, at the time) so it took about 5 hours of playing between trying to understand the game and trying to have a winner.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I like to work out, watch movies, cook and travel! Fitness helps me clear my head and feel ready for the day, and if I had to choose any movie I would prefer a drama that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
What is a weird fact about you?
A weird fact about me is that I’ll eat sweets, but for some reason I have never really liked them. It’s never even been a health thing, I just have always thought they tasted weird.
