These courses have already been pre-approved for international students and are all offered online so you can get the full academic experience from home. USAC students are also invited to take courses in architecture and the built environment, arts, humanities, social sciences, business, education, engineering, environment, health, engineering, IT, law, nursing and midwifery, psychology, sciences, and sport.

Auckland, Palmerston North, and Wellington, New Zealand – Massey University
Get a taste of Kiwi culture through study abroad with Massey University! During an in-person study abroad, USAC students can choose to study at one of three Massey campuses. However, opting for their virtual program in Fall 2021 gives you access to academics from all three locations! That means you can study an even wider range of topics, from visual arts to public health to business, taught by Massey’s top professors. Even better, a virtual study abroad is a great way to gear up for an in-person study abroad in Auckland, Palmerston North, or Wellington in Spring 2022.
Host University
With three campuses across New Zealand, Massey University is home to 19,000 local and international students. The university is a leader in the fields of applied biological sciences, nursing and public health, mathematics, visual arts, engineering and technology, physics, sport and exercise science, design, social sciences, education and business. USAC students are sure to be surrounded by driven, like-minded professors and students during their online courses.
Academics
While Massey is a leader in the fields mentioned above, any courses you choose to take during your semester with the university will be of high quality. USAC students can choose from a wide range of fields and topics, including creative arts, heath, humanities and social sciences, sciences and business. Seniors majoring in communications, public relations, advertising, media students or another related field can participate in a Communications Internship, as well.
Students can also take classes focused on New Zealand history, society, land, animals, business, and Māori language, culture and arts.

USAC Global Perspectives Program
In addition to the Australia and New Zealand Partnership Programs mentioned above, USAC also offers online courses and virtual internships through our Global Perspectives Program.
Online courses are taught virtually by USAC faculty located at one of our Specialty Program sites in Europe, Asia, Latin America and Africa. You can choose from USAC’s most popular courses in fields such as language, business, cultural studies, international affairs, and health and wellness, among others. Classes vary by term, so be sure to check out the latest online course offerings on the USAC website.
Our virtual internships offer students the opportunity to gain career experience in the field of their choice by working remotely for an internationally-based company. Internships in popular industries such as digital marketing, business, event planning, media, English language instruction, translation and more, are arranged by USAC Specialty Program directors with local companies in their program location. By participating in a virtual internship, you will have the chance to learn from professionals in your field of choice, build your career skillset, and immerse yourself in a new culture.
