We’ve been keeping a secret… for the last year, we’ve been behind the scenes working on a brand new look for our website. Today, we launched our redesigned website, and we’re excited to share the upgrades, additions, and changes we’ve made with you. If you want to jump right into exploring the new website, click the button below!
A New Homepage
The first thing you’ll notice on our website redesign is an updated color palette and a focus on more photos. We’re featuring our most important information on our homepage so you can easily access what you need without having to dive deep into the website. Below is a comparison of our old website homepage with the new homepage.
Our new homepage features a static left navigation bar that will stick with you as you navigate throughout the website, making it easy to access important information no matter where you are on the site.
Search for Study Abroad Programs
We’re excited to introduce a brand new and fun ‘mad libs’ feature that allows you to narrow your program search based on a combination of the following information:
- Area of study
- Study Abroad term
If you know this information, you can plug it into the mad libs feature on the homepage (or the program search page) and we’ll direct you to programs that fit your search filters.
You’ll notice that our programs are listed using large photo tiles. In our redesign we focused heavily on photos (most of which have been taken by USAC students) so you can get an inside look at study abroad.
Once inside a program page, you’ll see all the great information that was previously offered including:
- Program information
- Fees and deadlines
- Photo gallery
Easily Explore USAC.edu on Your Phone
One of the main reasons we redesigned our website was to offer a better mobile experience.
Our new mobile site is easy-to-navigate. It features lots of white space and big buttons so you don’t have to worry about wishing you had smaller fingers.
