A great way to explore and immerse yourself in a new culture is to do what the locals do, and a big part of any culture is learning (and tasting) what they eat.
Our Shanghai, China program offers courses in Mandarin Chinese, International Business, and more; but by far our most delicious offering is the Chinese Cuisine Cooking Courses (alliterations like, whoa!)
To sweeten the deal, Mike Hua, a renowned Shanghai local chef, was recently featured on You Are the Chef hosted by Heidi Dugan. AND he’s also USAC’s cuisine course instructor!
Watch these nom-licious videos to see Mike in action and learn a few basic, tasty Chinese cuisine recipes:
You Are the Chef ft. Mike Hua – Sesame Balls
You Are the Chef ft. Mike Hua – Spring Rolls
You Are the Chef ft. Mike Hua – Shanghai Steamed Buns
Cool fact: These episodes were shot on location in Mike’s cooking studio where the USAC cooking course is hosted every week.
