If you’re into folklore, water monsters, Harry Potter, and insanely beautiful scenery, then head to Scotland where our Loch Ness and Scottish Highlands field trip will have you exploring iconic Scottish castles and hunting for the aquatic being said to be living in the second largest Scottish loch.
During the Loch Ness and Scottish Highlands overnight field trip, you’ll explore the beauty and history of the Scottish Highlands, including the beautiful Trossachs and the stunning Glencoe mountains, at the Glenfinnan Viaduct (better known to many as the Harry Potter bridge). You’ll also see the Eilean Donan Castle, possibly one of the most iconic Scottish castles, set on a loch in majestic scenery where three great sea lochs meet.
In addition, you’ll visit Urquhart Castle on the shores of Loch Ness, Culloden—one of the most important historical battlefield locations in Scotland where Bonny Prince Charlie and the Jacobite troops were defeated by the Government’s men, and the Cairngorm Mountains.
